Clip it to the D-ring attached to the shoulder harness and secure it to the harness with the Velcro on the back of the pouch to quickly take out your transceiver or smartphone and communicate during hikes or in emergencies. It also works as an expansion pocket that can be attached to backpacks and bags that support the MOLLE system.
